A Chance to Make a Change

By mid-July half a million petitions for the Parents' Right to Know initiative will be flying off the presses. This initiative, intended for the California ballot, will require an abortionist to contact at least one of the parents of an under-18-year-old girl before aborting the girl's baby.

Other petitions will be circulated by Bader and Associates, the professional signature-gathering firm that led last year's successful petition drive for the recall of Governor Gray Davis.

The Parents' Right to Know intiative needs 598,105 valid signatures gathered in 150 days to qualify for the next California general election.

A large coalition of pro-life and pro-family groups and individuals has been mobilized to support the signature gathering and the campaign.

Volunteers can gather signatures for the campaign and, if they wish, can earn 50 cents a signature for their church or charity or for themselves.
