Yes on 73 -- the Latest Polls

And Tools for You to Use

By the time this issue of the Faith is published, less than five weeks will remain before California's special election November 8.

Voters will vote on eight ballot measures in this election. At the top of the list appears Proposition 73, the Parents' Right to Know and Child Protection initiative, the first pro-life measure ever to come before California voters. Prop 73 will require a doctor to notify at least one parent before performing an abortion on an under-18-year-old girl.

The Field poll released on September 6 showed Prop 73 in a dead heat -- 45 percent in favor, 45 percent opposed.

(Protestants favored Prop 73 by a wide margin--55 percent in favor, 34 percent opposed. Catholics polled slightly in favor - 46 percent to 43 opposed. And "other/no religious preference" polled 31 in favor and 59 percent opposed.)

Flyers telling the stories of parents whose daughters have been abused by abortionists, flyers giving the best arguments to use, and attractive bumper stickers and yard signs are available at www.Yeson73.net or www.parentsright2know.org. Or you can call (866) 828-8355 or email Janet@Yeson73.net and we will mail them to you.
